My Father, as a child.

There aren't a lot of pictures of my dad as a baby. This picture of him sitting on a bull with his mother standing by him and holding him, is one of two. The other one (on the right) shows him as a baby falling asleep on his older sister's shoulder. One of his sister's is missing out of this picture. Also there were several that weren't born yet.

My dad is standing here with the same sister he is leaning on in the above picture. She went on later in life to become a nun. She even got a Masters Degree in Art. The land my dad and his sister are standing on was sold in the mid 50's when my grandparents decided to move into town. Now the same exact place where their farm used to be has been parceled out to make a little suburbia with brand new houses.

When my father grew up he decided he hated farming and went to work in the closest town. Some of his family continued with farming, just like their ancestors did.
